30 minutes – recommended for children
45 minutes – older children, adult beginners
60 minutes – exam students, adults
Syllabus Exams
Our students have the opportunity to sit exams annually. We offer training for exams by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and Trinity Guildhall London. Please view the link for more information on exams. Our students have a 100% pass rate with most students receiving Distinction or High Distinction. Those wishing to sit exams must attend lessons on a weekly basis.

Students wishing to sit exams in Grade 6 or above must attend 2x lessons per week.
NB: ABRSM Grade 6 + requires students to have passed their Music Theory Grade 5 Exam.
Learning & Mentorship
Our music lessons are for students of all ages and abilities. We can tailor our lessons for students wanting to learn an instrument as a hobby, or for those wanting to prepare for specific performances such as auditions, concerts or competitions. We can offer lessons with accompanist as well. Please contact us to discuss your individualised learning programme. Students are expected to attend lessons on a weekly basis for continuity of learning.
Students who choose to not sit exams will have the option of following several other teaching programmes such as the Suzuki Method, Piatti Books, and more. Students will be given scales, exercises, studies, and pieces to complement whatever learning programme they choose.
Not only do our students receive high quality music lessons, they receive private mentorship from our tutors. Whether it is your goal to become a professional musician or to learn an instrument as a hobby, we believe that music is a great skill and ability to have in life and we are happy to be able to support you in growing your love for music.
